Chasen takes its motivation from an old oriental instrument, the customary bamboo whip utilized during the tea service, whose fragile fibers keep on changing shape. In this form the light discharge can be changed through a mechanical development that opens the louvers, accordingly differing the state of the luminaire. Steel suspension link, FEP/PVC power line of a similar shading as the luminaire.
