Pumpkin is a fabric armchair, part of the homonymous collection. For the absolute first time, Pierre Paulin's 1971 plan for seating for the private lofts of Claude and Georges Pompidou at the Elysée Palace is being placed into enormous scope production. Pumpkin is normal for Paulin's progressive style, as started toward the finish of the 1950's, and as its name proposes is suggestive of a goliath pumpkin, inviting the client with its defensively well proportioned - and curvaceously defensive - shell.
