VICINO is a little table with a metal construction that holds two retires: a proper lower rack and a swivel upper top. As in all Foster+Partners plans, the hey tech part is fundamental for its development. The essential thought is that of a little table which, because of sideways portable tops, can act as a surface for objects, yet additionally as a gadget for bringing whatever is needed into the foreground. The casing, made of red, pewter or bronze lacquered steel, hides a complex system for the navigate development of the thin yet basically viable marble or eucalyptus table tops.
